Kairos’ outpatient programs accept youth of all ages who are covered by Oregon Health Plan. Our services aim to be trauma-informed, culturally responsive, client-centered, and strengths-based, provided in collaboration with the youth’s family and other involved supports. Services are flexible and can occur in an office setting, in the community (e.g., school, home, etc.), or via telehealth (e.g., voice or video call). Our individualized services are flexible to allow for varying levels of frequency, duration, and focus to meet the unique needs of each youth and family.

Below are services provided at every outpatient program. In addition to these services, each program offers opportunities that are unique to that location. Please see the individual tabs for more details about services in your area.

Outpatient Treatment

Treatment services offered at all Outpatient Clinics:

Individual and Family Therapy – Kairos Individual and Family Therapists (IFT) provide therapeutic services for youth and families. This can look like helping individuals and/or families work through difficult feelings, manage emotional pain, reduce distress levels, or improve their relationships.

Skills Coaching – Kairos Skills Coaches provide the youth and/or family members with opportunities to develop and practice specifically targeted skills to address identified behavior challenges. These skills can help with improving familial relationships, social skills, or academic engagement and success.

Peer Delivered Services:

  • Kairos Peer Support Specialists (PSS) advocate for and support youth. They have their own lived experience navigating mental health services and use that to help guide youth through the treatment process. They are an ally and somebody youth can talk to when they feel like no one else might understand.
  • Kairos Family Support Specialists (FSS) advocate for and support parents and caregivers. They have their own lived experience supporting a child through the mental health system and use that to help guide families through the treatment process.
