For more than 70 years, The Joint Commission has been a global driver of quality improvement and patient safety in health care. The Joint Commission accreditation is recognized internationally as a symbol of health care quality and patient safety that reflects an organization's commitment to continuous improvement to meeting the necessary standards. - Kairos has been accredited by The Joint Commission since 1982.
- Kairos programs are licensed by the Oregon Department of Human Services’ Office of Licensing and Regulatory Oversight and by the Health Services Division of the Oregon Health Authority.
- Kairos programs are certified by the Health Services Division of the Oregon Health Authority.
- As required by Oregon Senate Bill 710 adopted 2021 regular session, quarterly reports must be completed and submitted to the Children’s Care Licensing Program (CCLP) regarding restraints and involuntary seclusions of children in care. Reports must also be posted on the Child Caring Agency’s website, if applicable, and must be provided to any member of the public upon request.
